Job Summary


We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Buyer to join our team in Garden Grove, CA that will be willing to take on the responsibility of purchasing for assigned vendors. This individual would be responsible for pro-actively seeking purchase order cost reductions, obtaining pricing for quote requests from sales, working closely with Director of Supply Chain to enhance cost savings and operational efficiencies to support Sales and Corporate Initiatives.

Examples of Essential Functions:


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Manage stocking and non-stocking vendor replenishment related activities to ensure proper stocking levels
  • Review assigned vendors and maintain the correct balance of inventory, according to parameters established by Director of Supply Chain, to optimize inventory turns and minimize stock outs
  • Maintain proactive communication with vendors to effectively manage purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery
  • Work on other projects and tasks as directed by the Director of Supply Chain
  • Review slow moving inventory and provide analysis to management for evaluation and action
  • Communicate any supply-related concerns to ensure there is no disruption in the supply chain
  • Work closely with the Sales team and promptly react to any special requirements or quotes
  • Benchmarking and working on yearly cost savings initiatives
  • Resolve any discrepancies in quantities, delivery, cost, and quality. Report all issues within parameters set by the Director of Supply Chain
  • Maintain supplier price sheets & terms, as required
  • Report any price increase proposals from suppliers and support department with preparation and completion of supplier negotiations
  • Set up new part numbers in the system, on demand, as needed for new item creation requirements


Qualifications Guidelines




  • 4+ years' experience
  • Previous experience in Supply chain working with overseas supplier is a MUST
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • General understanding of the supply chain including vendor management, and inventory management.
  • Bilingual in Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin) is a plus
  • Strong analytical, data-driven thinking and pro-active
  • Self-motivated to learn and contribute to the success of the team
  • Works well in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Bachelor's Degree
