Job Summary

 

KushCo Holdings is looking for an experienced and motivated Recruiter to join our HR team. We are seeking a recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, talent sourcing and attracting candidates by communicating our story. This person will partner with the recruiting team to interview and hire only all-star employees. This role will consist of recruiting for various levels and types of positions.  The ideal candidate will have experience with sourcing diverse roles and have a background in multiple industries. This is a great opportunity to get professional recruiting experience and engage in top talent sourcing.

Examples of Essential Functions:

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Seek out active and passive candidates on all job boards (LinkedIn, Social Media, etc.).
  • Help develop and implement an overall recruiting strategy.
  • Partner with Management to analyze and forecast department needs to be proactive on growth.
  • Screen and conduct interviews to assess candidates' relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Communicate all details with candidates/managers and act as a point of contact during and after the interview process.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management internally and externally.
  • Sell/represent the Kush brand to attract new applicants.
  • Create job templates and post new positions on company website.
  • Review job descriptions and ensure FLSA compliance through knowledge of EEO classifications.
  • Research creative job boards/recruiting efforts in the cannabis industry
  • Maintain professional demeanor when dealing with internal and external clients.
  • Have knowledge and apply legal recruiting practices using compliance knowledge.
  • Exhibits a team player attitude and can manage dynamic personalities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attend recruiting events/job fairs to seek out candidates.
  • Track and present metrics on time to fill, turnover and sourcing.
  • Campaign on internal and external platforms to encourage more traffic on ATS.
  • Ability to multi-task and follow up with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential matters.

 

Qualifications Guidelines

 

Education/training/experience:

 

  • 3+ years' of professional/full- cycle recruiting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques.
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR/Psychology/Business Admin., or related field.
  • Multi-state recruiting experience a plus.

 

Knowledge of:

  • Proven work experience as a recruiter.
  • Prior use of an applicant tracking system (familiarity with ApplicantPro a plus).
  • HR Recruiting Compliance knowledge.
  • Ability to scan large volumes of resumes with short deadlines.

Physical Standards:

  • This position requires frequently sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and operating a computer workstation.
  • Must have finger dexterity, ability to use keyboard/ten key.
  • Able to participate in the environments standing, moving onsite at events and tradeshows.
  • Reach, stoop and lift office files, records or reports, typically weighing 20 pounds or less.
  • Reasonable accommodations will be considered which would allow the employee to perform the essential functions of this job.
